Three people have been arrested and two investigated as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of burglary, damage, coercion and road safety

They moved from Alcantarilla and Murcia to the rural area of Librilla to commit their criminal actions

All the tools and machinery stolen have been recovered

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the 'Plan against theft in homes', has developed the operation RASTRILLA, an investigation aimed at clarifying several robberies committed in Librilla cottages, which has resulted in the arrest of three people and the investigation of two other members of a family clan as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of burglary, damage, coercion and road safety.

The investigation began last November, when the Civil Guard learned of the theft, in several country houses in the municipality of Librilla, of numerous tools and machinery.

As a result of the research carried out, the agents found out that behind these events was a group of people, settled outside the town, who moved from Murcia and Alcantarilla to perpetrate the robberies.

In the course of the investigation, some of the injured parties, in addition, informed the Benemérita that she had been coerced by the alleged thieves, by means of telephone calls made from a hidden number.

The Civil Guard focused the investigations on the location of the vehicle, which allowed to identify its owner, a woman, neighbor of Murcia, family related to other individuals, with police records, on which the investigation was focused.

After numerous police devices, in one of which several of the suspects fled on board a vehicle, with the consequent risk for road traffic and for the physical safety of the agents, the Civil Guard located and detained the suspects when they were transporting several of the stolen objects.

In that act, three male persons, of Spanish nationality, between the ages of 23 and 48 and residents of Alcantarilla and Murcia, were arrested as alleged perpetrators of continued crimes of robbery with force, damages, coercion and against road safety.

The development of the investigation has allowed to relate to two women of 24 and 32 years old and of Spanish nationality with the criminal group now dismantled.

Apparently, the suspects provided the vehicle used by the clan to move to Librilla, as well as the mobile phone from which the injured parties were contacted to coerce them, for which they have been instructed by the alleged perpetrator of the crimes investigated.

The Civil Guard has completed the operation with the recovery of all the effects stolen, among which are numerous tools, construction machinery and a carbine of compressed air, all valued at about 3,000 euros.

The persons arrested and investigated, the effects recovered and the proceedings ordered have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 2 of Totana (Murcia).
