It reiterates its commitment to implement before the end of the year the second Administrative Simplification Law and to eliminate at the beginning of 2018 the "unfair" tax on Inheritance and Donations

The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, stressed today that the Investment Acceleration Unit (UNAI) of the Instituto de Fomento (Info) has a portfolio of 46 projects with an investment of close to 800 million euros, collaboration and support "that the regional government provides to companies to manage the procedures that contribute to the realization of their investment projects.

López Miras, who today visited the García Aranda plant in Librilla and inaugurated its new horticultural processing plant, stressed that "this is a project that has also managed the UNAI and in only 6 months managed to unlock, take it forward and put it on March".

He pointed out that in the course of the year, the Region has attracted 36 investment projects, confirming the investments of 13 companies worth 150 million euros, which has resulted in the creation of almost 700 new jobs.

"We want the region to become a real area of ​​economic freedom and that when someone comes to our country and wants to invest in it, do it in the Region of Murcia," said the president.

To this end, he added, "we have to give companies facilities, eliminate obstacles."

In this regard, he recalled that before the end of the year the second Law of Administrative Simplification will be implemented, said that "it is necessary to continue to reduce the tax burden on those who create jobs and opportunities, which are entrepreneurs", and for that reason , reiterated that in early 2018 will eliminate the "unfair" tax on Inheritance and Donations.

García Aranda is a family business with almost 300 workers, specialized in handling and marketing of citrus, melons and peppers, and referent in this sector.

With the new fruit and vegetable processing plant inaugurated today by the president, this company can increase its productivity by 40 percent.
