Progressive Union Librilla requested by the conclusion of an Extraordinary Plenary in defense for maintaining the Health Services Center (19/04/2012)

Given the widespread concern among the residents of Librilla caused by the news that were published in the Diario La Verdad, last Saturday April 14, which echoed the statements of the Regional Deputy Prime Minister, John Bernal, and confirmed by sources of the Ministry of Health, which stated that would remove the Health Care Services from the 15 pm in the Primary Care Center Librilla, being able to even eliminate the Emergency, and the lack of information Official Municipal Government Team, not only to other political forces, but to the whole population of the municipality, that far from calm, every day is more disturbing for Librilla Progressive Union has requested this morning holding an Extraordinary Plenary which plans to report on the Regional Government in this regard and show, also, our support to the Mayor in all steps I should do in order to keep the current services of our Primary Care Center.

Also consider it necessary to remember that Librilla has a population of around 5,000 inhabitants, it being necessary to take these services, should be suppressed by the Centre de Alhama and the Emergency Department of Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca, which can lead to saturation and delay them in the care of sick people, while it poses a serious risk to life and / or physical integrity of persons residing in Librilla that can not be transferred to them with the necessary speed.

The measures announced by the Regional Government with respect to our town would seriously affect the right to health, to assume a decline in the quality of services, and ensure equal access to health care to the inhabitants of Librilla , causing them greater financial burden for transportation needs, and could even violated the right to life, in the most disadvantaged groups who lack this ability to shift and / or mobility.

The librillanas librillanos and will not allow his people to be dismantled gradually, and the same thing happened with the Civil Guard barracks, which was transferred to Alhama, a fact lamented the people every day.
