The Progressive Union for Librilla joins, once again, the multitude of events that will be held across the planet, against the Machista Violences, adding one more concern: the advance of the ideologies of the extreme right in the territory .
Like all November 25, we will take to the streets to show the existence of violent acts against women, acts that in their cruelest manifestation, have meant the murder of 51 women in our country.
Women killed simply because they are, women killed by their partners.
Mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters, companions, friends ... whose life was taken away by a man who believed in the right to be the owner of his most precious asset.
Again we will go out to the street to give them a voice, to remember them and to shout for them that, once and for all, we become aware of the existence of Machista Violence in our society and that it is a problem for everyone.
They are accomplices who are silent, they are accomplices who look away, they are complicit in the Administrations that do not put sufficient measures or means to educate in values, to prevent or avoid aggressions, those public representatives who deny the fact that women receive aggressions are complicit simply because of their gender status.
This year, the concern of progressive women and men increases, when they see how the message of neo-fascist policies is penetrating our society, jeopardizing the social progress achieved in our Social and Democratic State and Law.
Misogynist and sexist policies and statements, which aim to break down all equality policies, which call into question the Law on Integral Protection Measures against Gender Violence, the State Pact signed by all democratic parties and the Convention from Istanbul.
Accompanied by actions of ideological persecution against the professionals who are at the service and support of women who need your help to get rid of their abusers, to be able to have a dignified life, or simply, to be able to safeguard their physical integrity.
Librilla is not left out of this drift, it is enough to see the results obtained in the municipality by these political tendencies in the last electoral calls;
That is why the Progressive Union for Librilla, has wanted to convene the events of this year under the slogan "It is not 25N more", as a call for attention to the decline in rights that may involve the advancement of these policies within the municipality and in the Region.
A peaceful Concentration has been called to which we call the participation of all those who condemn Violence against Women and in which more means are requested to eradicate such behaviors in our society.
The event, which will feature a memory of the 51 women killed this year, will take place on Monday, November 25, at 7 pm on Murcia Street.
Because we cannot look the other way, because silence makes us accomplices, because we cannot allow a step back in the rights achieved, we encourage the population to join the mobilizations convened on this day.
