The Minister of Education and Universities, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora, today held a working meeting with the mayor of Librilla, Mar Hernandez, and representatives of local groups to inform them about the foresight to build a new school in the town.
Sanchez-Mora moved the need for the council to make available counseling land that meets the technical requirements for building the new school.
Education and City Council agreed to continue working for school construction starts as soon as possible.
To this end, the Community is studying two proposals for new municipal location.
The counselor explained that "we intend to draft the project in 2016 and in 2017 to allocate budget to start work once the City Council will grant land".
Sanchez-Mora recalled that his department this year plans to invest over 20 million euros in the municipalities of the region, "to further strengthen the network infrastructure to ensure quality in education".
