After nearly 13 years of claims librillanas to the need to build a new Primary Education Center, the City of Librilla made last Friday at the disposal of the Ministry of Education land for the construction of new public school.

It is two plots of municipal ownership located on the same site where the previous Municipal Corporation had planned to build a concerted school, with possible extension to a third, which in total would amount 11.243m2 for construction of the new school, known as surface sufficient for that purpose, since that ground has no limit buildable, allowing the Ministry to plan the building with complete urban freedom and within the urbanization El Salitre, although newly developed, it has an excellent location within the town the municipality, with wide access roads.

The first mayor added that "we need a modern school, three lines, that meets the current needs of the municipality."

The only current center is in a sorry state due to lack of space on the same to meet the minimum standards of educational quality, since such important areas as the library, gym, staff room or computer room have disappeared in the Sacred Heart Primary school to the basic needs of classrooms for the education of children of Librilla.
